PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) —  There are many people who suffer from allergies but never get treatment because they're afraid that they might have to have a needle.

What they might not be aware of is that there are other types of treatment for allergies. The most simple revolves around avoidance of the allergen, but there are others which include over-the-counter and prescription medications.
