PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Attention parents: A form of e-cigarettes called Juuls is the latest craze among teenagers. And according to Truth Initiative, an organization dedicated to reducing tobacco use, most kids don't realize the health risks, and most parents don't know what to look for.

Juul just came on the market in 2015. It's sleek design easily misses the eyes of parents and teachers because the device looks like a USB drive.

"When you exhale it you don't get a big plume of vapors, so it's easy to disguise." said Truth Initiative's Robin Koval.

Koval says teens are attracted to the variety of Juul pod flavors.

"They think they're just using Juul to get mango or fruit medley or creme brulee flavor," she explained. "What they don't realize is they're also using a highly addictive product."

Because each Juul pod contains as much nicotine as a pack of cigarettes. Studies show young people who start using e-cigarettes are four times more likely to become smokers.
