Police: Man, teen wounded at North Philly Chinese restaurant on Christmas

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (AP) — Police say a man and a teenager were wounded during a shooting at a Chinese restaurant in North Philadelphia on Christmas. 

Chief Inspector Scott Small says that at least 30 shots were fired at the Jade Garden takeout restaurant late Wednesday night, located on the 1500 block of West Lehigh Avenue.

A man who was found on the restaurant's floor was taken to Temple University Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Witnesses told police that the man was picking up food when he was shot.

Police say the man is in his 40s or 50s and is a regular customer at the restaurant. 

A 16-year-old boy was also shot once in the leg.
