Toms River man charged with terroristic threats and assault

He pulled a knife and threatened a another driver in a weekend road rage incident.

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Authorities have charged a New Jersey man with making terroristic threats and assault following a road rage incident over the weekend.

Medford Township police say around 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Charles Cassidy III, of Toms River, got out of a car with a knife and threatened another driver along Route 70, near Medford Evesboro Road.

Officers got a warrant and searched Cassidy's property, then arrested the 45-year-old. 

Cassidy remains in jail, pending a court hearing.
