PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Division II Thomas Jefferson University women's basketball team improved to 7-0 Wednesday night with an impressive 82-56 win over West Chester at the Gallagher Center.

Jefferson red-shirt sophomore guard Caitlyn Cunningham led the way in the win with a huge performance. She finished with a triple-double, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 rebounds while dishing out 10 assists.

"It's pretty cool, I didn't really expect it," she said after the game. "I was kind of surprised when I came off the court and my teammates told me that."

The last stat column to hit double figures for Cunningham was rebounds, as she secured the triple-double with her 10th carom halfway through the fourth quarter — a pretty rare feat, but it's one Cunningham took in stride.

"We have a lot of great players on our team, so I'm sure anyone on our team could probably get it," she said. "I mean, it's pretty special, it's pretty cool to have."

Cunningham, a native of Dresher, is really only focused on one number though, and that's the one in the win column.

"Whatever I can do to help my team win, that's the ultimate goal," she added.

Cunningham and the Rams return to action on Tuesday with a road game at Wilmington.
