PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Welcome to campus, baby owls!

Temple University's move-in day begins Tuesday morning for its incoming freshmen.

Although you may be well beyond your college days, if your commute passes Temple's campus, you will experience heavier than normal traffic from Tuesday until Sunday.

North Broad Street between Cecil B. Moore and Susquehanna avenues will experience more traffic volume.

Early-arrival students descend onto campus Tuesday between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. New students are expected Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday from noon to 4 p.m.

Returning students arrive Saturday between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m., so be sure to give yourself more time during your commute, or find an alternative route.

La Salle University's Class of 2022 also arrives on campus Tuesday and throughout the rest of the week.

More than 1,100 are incoming freshmen or transfer students, so there will be a large hub of activity at the university's dorms from about 8 a.m. to noon Tuesday, which are located at the intersection of North 20th Street and West Olney Avenue.
