CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Fall was in the air and in the water during Camden's Adventure Aquarium's first-ever Pumpkin and Patch's Fall Fest.

Families gathered for the harvest-inspired, fall-themed animal enrichment event Sunday morning.

"We're feeding our octopus, a jack-o'-lantern filled with yummy crab and fish treats, our penguin exhibits have pumpkins all over then and mums, it's all very very fun," said aquarium spokesperson Denna Sabec.

There were tons of arts and crafts for kids, including decorating their own miniature baby pumpkin. Stingrays swam in orange-lit waters and youngster Shawn Lindsay said he learned something new.

"There are minnows in there," she said. "They're these tiny silvery fish with teeth in their throat."

Four-year-old Cyrus Marks, already impressed with the day, knows what's in his future.

"A marine biologist," he said.
