PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — This week on Flashpoint: Host and KYW Community Affairs reporter Cherri Gregg asks the burning questions about the impeachment process.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi made the historic announcement that Congress would begin an impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump's conversation with the president of Ukraine. The alleged misconduct stems from a whistleblower complaint and the cover up that allegedly followed.

Franklin and Marshall College political pollster Dr. Terry Madonna joins Dr. David Barrett a political science professor at Villanova University and David Dix, a political analyst and co-founder of Luminous Strategies.

The newsmaker of the week is Jamie Gauthier, the Democratic candidate for the third councilmatic district. The West Philadelphia native will run unopposed in November after a primary victory over longtime incumbent Jannie Blackwell. Gauthier lays out her vision.

Also, her office is hiring. She explains what she's looking for.

The changemakers of the week are Revs. Antoine and Juwan Bennett. The brothers co-pastor New Life Christian Fellowship Baptist Church in Germantown and use their pulpit power to pull in police recruits of color. The dynamic duo explains their plan for diversifying law enforcement.
