PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Get ready, get set, dance.

"June 16th at the Piazza at Schmidt's Commons, 12 noon to 12 midnight, we'll have FringeA-Thon 2018," said Zack Blackwood, artistic producer of Fringe Arts. "FringeA-Thon is a marathon. It's like a telethon, a walkathon, a jump-rope-athon, but we are dancing."

But what about those who don't like to dance?

"I don't like to dance if I'm being completely honest," Blackwood admitted. "I enjoy dancing after a few cocktails, but in the middle of the day I'm not exactly a dancer. There is so much more to do. You can hang around-have a cocktail, eat something delicious and watch these amazing performances."

And there will be a place people can sit and drink, and there will be food.

"Oh yeah, there's a ton of food," Blackwood said. "You can donate money, you can join a team or just come with a ticket, and anything that you do while you're there in the whole 12 hours goes towards supporting the local arts community in Philadelphia."

Tickets are $35 with free admission for children.
