PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Every Tuesday night for the rest of August, Seger Park on 10th and Lombard streets goes to the dogs.

"During the summer we offer an event we call Woofstock. It's live music every Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., weather permitting. It's local musicians who perform a variety of music be it jazz, pop,  blue grass, you name it. They come here every week and it's for everyone to enjoy," said Harry Freedman, a longtime resident of Washington Square West and a volunteer.

Darien and her dog Bogey come here every week.

"He loves the dog park. He knows that word better than walk or eat. There are a couple of dogs he plays with that come here pretty regularly," she said.

Colleen O'Rourke is on the board of the nonprofit Seger Park.

"This is Lucy. She isn't mine but I am watching her tonight. But she definitely enjoys the music and she loves people. She is a big fan.  I think all the dogs love it," O'Rourke said.
