PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- When JaMarcus came to the Broadcast Center he brought some show-and-tell.

"(I have) a notebook, colored pencils," he said as he began emptying a whole backpack full of toys, including a Nintendo, playing cards and spinning tops.

He demonstrated how to use his favorite, "you take a Beyblade and you battle with them."

He loves having fun, but it's not all games for this 8-year-old.

He said he wants to either be a police officer or go into the military when he grows up, "so I can save people."

His social worker, Richa Rodier said JaMarcus needs a family that can maintain contact with his siblings,

"He has two sisters that he sees monthly," Rodier explained, "so he'd like to keep seeing them."

And Gloria Hochman, with the Philadelphia-based Adoption Center, said JaMarcus needs an active family, "A family he can go places with and play sports with."

Wednesday's Child is produced by KYW Newsradio's Tim McLaughlin.
