PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- After nearly a year of construction, the Bourse is getting ready to announce their re-opening date. But first, a beer garden, a job fair and a block party!

Bourse Marketplace manager Kelly Duffy says your first glimpse of Old City's newly renovated Bourse will be from June 29 through July 3 as part of their partnership with Wawa Welcome America.

"We are kicking it off with a pop-up beer garden with the creators behind Bru Craft and Wurst and Uptown Beer Garden," Duffy said.

The Bourse Patio will be open to the public and you'll be able to see inside the building, too.

"They're going to put out some planters, we'll have outdoor furniture, have some mobile bars out there and then you can even get a sneak peek inside," Duffy explained. "So you can move into one of the restaurant spaces inside the Bourse and it'll be extended indoors."

On the final day of the beer garden, there will be a block party.

"It's called the Historic Block Party Celebrating the Bourse, where you'll find a ton of food and retail vendors and entertainment throughout 5th Street, 6th Street, Market and Chestnut (Streets)," Duffy said, "and we also are featuring some of our tenants in the block party, as well."

But Duffy says before any of that happens, the Bourse will be hosting a job fair on Monday on behalf of their 29 new tenants.

"We're hiring for all kinds of positions," she said. "We have management, front of house, back of house."
