CHADDS FORD, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — For those spending Labor Day not at the Jersey shore, a festival more inland offers a little bit of something for everyone.

From Saturday through Monday, the Chaddsford Winery Labor Day Jazz Festival will feature local musicians, a variety of Pennsylvania-made wines and cocktails, craft beer, and food trucks.

"I feel like the last weekend of August for everyone is kind of like the last hurrah of summer," said Emily Serks with the winery.

And for the last hurrah, visitors can enjoy innovative drinks like a sangria wine pop cocktail.

"We turn a wine pop upside down inside your glass and serve it in a glass of our sunset blush or our sangria," she explained.

"Our food trucks this weekend will be Gemelli Gelato," she continued, "artisan gelato from West Chester. And then we'll also have The Plum Pit, our favorite comfort foods."

Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own food.

"Bring your picnic blanket," she said, or "bring your own picnic basket if you want to bring food by yourself."

The winery grounds will be free to enter, and kids and families are welcome. Food and drink will be available for pay-as-you-go.

"We are actually a 250-year-old dairy farm, so we're a big red barn that houses all of our winery where we make our wine," Serks said. "Outside, we have a little patio and then a big grass space in front of our Vintner House, which is where the original family that owned the dairy farm lived."
