PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Philadelphia Eagles are certainly flying high so far this season — but if need a way to the next game, you can take the bus.

Megabus is offering a $99 rate — each way — from Philadelphia to New Orleans when the Eagles take on the Saints Sunday afternoon. It offered a similar deal the week before when the Eagles visited the Bears in Chicago.

The trip has multiple stops each way, accumulating more than a day of travel with driving, stops and layovers.

The itinerary for the trip is as follows:

Philadelphia to New Orleans:

Riders can either depart Thursday morning to arrive Friday night, or they can leave Friday morning to arrive Saturday night.

The bus leaves Philadelphia at 10:30 a.m. and arrives in Washington, D.C., at 1:30 p.m. for a two-hour layover.

From there, the bus leaves at 3:30 p.m. and arrives in Atlanta at 7:25 a.m. the following morning, followed by a four-hour layover.

Riders leave Atlanta at 11:30 a.m. and arrive in New Orleans at 7:25 p.m. CST.

The trip totals $99.

New Orleans to Philadelphia:

To return home, travelers can take Megabus Monday at 11:30 a.m. CST, also for $99. The bus enters Philly Tuesday evening.

Travelers depart from New Orleans at 11:30 a.m. CST and arrive in Atlanta at 9:15 p.m. EST, followed by nearly a two-hour layover.

The Atlanta bus leaves at 11 p.m. and arrives in Washington, D.C., at 3:30 p.m. the next day, followed by a four-hour layover.

Finally, the bus leaves Washington, D.C., at 7:35 p.m. and gets to Philly at 10:55 p.m.

To compare, flights from Philly to New Orleans seem to only go as low as $387 for an extended Friday through Monday weekend, at least on Skyscanner. So if the extra dollars saved are worth your time, book your bus tickets soon — but don't forget the ticket to the game itself, which start at $189.

Kickoff begins at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday at 4:40 p.m. EST.
