TRENTON, NJ (KYW Newsradio) -- A second case of measles exposure in the last two weeks has been reported in South Jersey, and officials are emphasizing residents take precautionary measures.

The word comes in a notification from the New Jersey Health Department.

This second case is directly connected to the first, reported on June 22nd. The first was the result of international travel, this new one follows exposure to that traveler.

It's suggested anyone who visited Anjali Power Yoga in Westmont on June 26 or Virtua Marlton Hospital on the 27th watch for tell tale signs of possible exposure.

Possible symptoms include a high fever, runny nose, red watery eyes and a rash that starts at the hairline of your face. Those signs could take until July 18 to surface.

Call your doctor before any office visit so they can prepare.

If exposed you could be at risk unless you had measles as a child or your shots are up to date.
