2 men sentenced for series of 7-11 robberies

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J., (KYW Newsradio) — Two Camden men were sentenced today for a series of armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in 2014. In one robbery, a clerk was shot multiple times and left paralyzed. 

Charles Walls, 35, was sentenced to 30 years in prison. He pleaded guilty to first-degree attempted murder and robbery charges, as well as criminal restaint. 

Anthony Ervin, 27, was sentenced to 12 years in prison on first-degree robbery charges. 

The armed robberies happened at 7-Eleven stores in Pennsauken, Medford, Blackwood and Hamilton Township, Mercer County. The heists were committed between April 27 and June 13 in 2014.
