PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for four suspects after a pair of security guards were shot in front of an after hours club early Saturday morning.

Authorities say the four men were kicked out of VIP Afterhours Night Club along the 3500 block of I Street in Juniata Park just before sunrise, but refused to leave the area out front of the club.

The two security guards walked the men back to their cars, and a struggle ensued as the guards tried to force the men into those vehicles.

Police say that's when one of the suspects pulled a gun and began firing at the two security guards. One of the guards was shot in the arm and the other was shot in the leg. Both were taken to Temple University Hospital for treatment. They are both expected to be okay.

Investigators are working to identify the suspects who fled the scene after the shooting.
