TULLYTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — The Bucks County District Attorney's Office is investigating the death of a 2-year-old boy in Tullytown.

Authorities say the child, identified as Mazikeen Clarey, was found dead lying on a bed inside his home on Lovett Avenue near Manor Avenue on Saturday. There were no obvious signs of trauma.

The toddler's mother, identified as Jennifer Clarey, 42, was taken to a hospital for some injuries, which officials say appear to be self-inflicted.

They say no one else was home at the time.

"Young Mazikeen's death is tragic, regardless of how it was caused," Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub said in a statement. "We are using all of our resources to determine if he is the victim of a homicide. This will take time. We ask for your assistance and your patience while we conduct this investigation."

An autopsy is pending.
