PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Donald Trump-themed store in Bucks County is grabbing a lot of attention — and customers — as it sells gear with a focus on the 45th president.

Store owner Micheal Domanico has run a t-shirt printing business for a number of years. He says he started selling Donald Trump t-shirts after some getting a special request.

"Somebody asked me to do a Trump shirt," Domanico said. "As an experiment, I made 10 shirts, took them to a show. I sold them in about a half an hour. Said 'Wow, I'm on to something here.'"

He continued selling the shirts at shows and events for a few years.

"Started coming up with more designs. We had like 20-something designs, now, and one thing led to another. I started doing rallies, and here we are," he said.

Business has been so good for Domanico that, earlier this week, he opened The Trump Store in Bensalem, where he sells hats, shirts, mugs, hoodies, magnets, stickers — "Just about anything you want," he said.

Eleanor is a customer who says she has made several trips to the store already. She says it's helping fill her Trump paraphernalia void.

"Mugs, t-shirts, just classic Trump with the flag," she said, while perusing Domanico's merchandise. "It's nice. We can't find it anywhere else."

Selling the ubiquitous red "Make America Great Again" hats and t-shirts with right-leaning statements like "Democrats haven't been this mad at Republicans since we freed their slaves," Domanico says he is receiving some negative backlash from the other side of the political spectrum.

"On social media people have posted a lot of negative comments, but not at the store," he said. "People are loving it. I get thanked 50 time a day for opening this store."

He says he expects the store to stay around long past November, no matter which way the political winds blow.

"Even if he's re-elected — let me rephrase that — when he gets re-elected, we'll still stay here, because people will still buy Trump stuff. Everybody loves the president," Domanico said.
