PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) —  Activists and local lawmakers took turns reading portions of the Mueller report at a protest against the President in Old City.

A few hundred people gathered at Independence Mall to encourage Congress to pick up where the Mueller report ended.

"We are reading the sections that show the impeachable actions that the President has taken,” said Vicki Miller with Indivisible Philadelphia. "The unlawful actions, the abuses of power.”

Jen Hallum came out from Upper Darby to protest the President Trump.

"I'm here because I believe in Democracy," she said.

Hallum believes the president should be held accountable for his actions.

"Something, we probably all could agree on, is that nobody is above the law," she said.

Meanwhile, Patrick Wash of Ridley Park says claims against the president are just a big conspiracy.

"It's a big fat witch hunt hoax, just like he (President Trump) said," Wash said. “

Hallum adds the Mueller report needs to be taken seriously.

"I think that our system of government has been under attack, now," she said.
