PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Families enjoy the Holiday Garden Railway Nights all lit up and decorated for the season at the Morris Arboretum in Chestnut Hill as the holidays approach.

The Hammonds say their 3-year-old son, Everette, was glowing after seeing the display and inspired to take in the lights along the gardens.

"He really liked it. He was busy taking pictures. He did a good job," the family said.

"We added more lighting decor this year and added some color in, and people seem to be having a really good reaction to it," said the arboretum's Cindy Bowan.

Bowan hopes people will come to see the white lights sparkle along the rails and miniature decorated buildings and also spend a little time exploring.

"We've got lots of garden space and walking paths for people who want to be out and walk in a safe place," she said.

The railway nights are Friday, Saturday and Sundays nights from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. until Dec. 29.
