The Fab Four

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — They sound a lot like The Beatles. And, from a distance, they look a little bit like them, too. They even call themselves The Fab Four, the Ultimate Tribute. And they're coming to Bucks County later this week.

There are Beatles tribute bands that make their way through our region on a regular basis such as The Mahoney Brothers and Rain.

But the West Coast-based Fab Four doesn't get here very often. On Thursday night, they'll take the stage at the Xcite Center of Parx Casino in Bensalem.

Lead guitarist Gavin Pring, who hails from Liverpool and has been performing the role of George Harrison in The Fab Four the past few years, says it's amazing to watch from the stage how the audience responds.

"Every moment probably in their life had a Beatles song related to it," Pring said. "So when you play the song, even though it's 'Here Comes the Sun,' whatever you're singing, 'Here Comes the Sun' for that person in the audience, there's a different connection for that song than I have. And, sometimes they can't hold in it a lot of times. People do get emotional."
