PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — It's going to be a packed weekend for the NLL's Philadelphia Wings.

It all starts on Saturday night at the Wells Fargo Center when Philadelphia hosts the New England Blackwolves. Then it's a bus ride up to Connecticut for a late Sunday afternoon rematch with the Blackwolves in Uncasville.

The Wings sit at 1-7 in this, their expansion season. Last time out this past Saturday, the Wings lost at home to Colorado 12-10. The Wings led 9-7 after three quarters, but the Mammoth won the final quarter 5-1 to grab the victory.

"They outscored us on the power play (4-0)," Wings head coach Paul Day said. "That's the difference in the game."

Two of those Colorado power play goals came in that big fourth quarter.

Playing back-to-back games this weekend with travel involved means it will be a grind for the Wings. Day talks about how they will approach it.

"You really prepare for game one, that's the main focus," he said. "It's interesting, their building is a little smaller, it's the smallest building and turf in the league. It will definitely be a different game Sunday which will make it a very physical game Sunday. So personnel wise, we will use all our speed Saturday night and then we'll put some bigger bodies in for Sunday. We will definitely switch it up and have some fresher guys."

New England brings a 4-3 record into the weekend. Day talks about what they need to do to have success this weekend and the rest of the way.

"I think the key for us is consistency defensively and goaltending," he said.

Saturday night's game at the Center gets underway at 7:00 p.m.
