CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A Camden man has been sentenced to 20 years in state prison for the 2016 murder of another man.

Vyron Johnson, 31, pleaded guilty on June 11 to aggravated manslaughter charges for shooting and killing Patrick Lowe.

Witnesses told police that Johnson and a surviving victim had an argument earlier in the night of the shooting. Johnson then returned half an hour later and shot Lowe and the surviving man. Johnson was taken into custody by the Camden County Police Department and U.S. Marshals on Aug. 6, 2016.

The Camden County Prosecutor's Office said Johnson was initially charged with aggravated assault. His new sentence will be served concurrently with the eight-and-a-half years he was sentenced for the earlier charge.
