MONTGOMERY COUNTY (KYW Newsradio) -- Cameron Leech has put together quite a season for the Division III Bryn Athyn College lacrosse team.

In 14 games this season, Leech, a midfielder, has scored 36 goals, while adding 55 assists for a whopping 91 points. He is second in the nation in Division III in assists per game (3.93) and third in the country in points per game (6.50).

"It's been a fun year," Leech said. "Looking to do some big things in the playoffs."

Leech has obviously fit right in at Bryn Athyn, located in Montgomery County, after transferring there year from York, Pennsylvania, prior to his junior. He says his success is really a product of having great teammates.

"As you can see, I get a lot of assists, and it is not usually me doing the scoring," he said. "It's my teammates. I find them open, and they bury it every time. So probably my teammates help me a lot with my success here."

Leech is a native of Abington and went to Abington High School, so he's playing just 15 minutes away from home.

"It's awesome," he said. "My parents have made it to every game, whether it was York or Bryn Athyn. They haven't missed a game in my college career or high school career."

Leech helped lead the Lions to an 8-6 regular season and a berth in the North Eastern Athletic Conference Tournament.

"Our goals are one game at a time," he said. "We have Hilbert on Wednesday [in the NEAC semifinals]. It's just one game at a time for us to keep this thing going as long as we can."
