PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Many roads in Center City are closed until 3 p.m. Sunday due to a heavy equipment helicopter lift operation, according to SEPTA.

The affected areas are between Arch and Chestnut streets, from 21st Street east to Broad Street. Pedestrians will have limited access to street-level entrances and exits along the Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines, as well as trolley routes and the Regional Rail at Suburban Station.

Riders can access the Broad Street and Market-Frankford lines from the City Hall courtyard. The Center City Concourse will remain open.

Trolley routes 10, 11, 12, 34 and 36 will bypass 19th Street in both directions. Most street-level entrances and exits for 15th Street will be closed, but the concourse is accessible at 13th and Market streets.

The Regional Rail will only be accessible on JFK Boulevard at 16th, 17th and 18th streets. Jefferson Station is not affected.

The following SEPTA buses are detoured: Routes 2, 4, 16, 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 124 and 125.
