NEW JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) -- There's a Grinch riding around South Jersey, snatching Christmas decorations from houses.

Police say people at least 20 homes in Egg Harbor Township called to report stolen items.

Kelly Musket tells CBS3 that her eight foot Santa decoration went missing from her front lawn.

“It's sad to think that someone would steal a Santa, and it's a little scary to know they got this close to the house,” she said. “I mean this is a good neighborhood, so we were a little taken a back."

The thief was caught on surveillance video at one home.

Police are hoping someone comes forward with information that helps them find the Christmas crook.
