PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A car collided with a SEPTA bus Monday morning in Delaware County, sending nine passengers to the hospital.

SEPTA says the Route 126 bus was hit by car at Glendale and Burmont roads in Haverford Township about 7 a.m.

A SEPTA spokeswoman says the nine bus passengers were taken to area hospitals for examination, and some suffered minor injuries.

Police are still on the scene investigating.

It's unknown whether rainy conditions played a factor in the collision.
