PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The online system that drivers with E-ZPass use to replenish their accounts crashed Thursday for the second time in three months.

The E-ZPass website was down again after being out of service for three days in January. A spokesman for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority says the outage affects the E-ZPass customer service centers in New Jersey and New York.

Drivers were unable to go to the E-ZPass website and add money to their accounts or use automated systems. The E-ZPass toll collection system was working normally, but some commuters were tweeting their accounts did not automatically replenish, and they had to use cash to pay tolls.
