PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The next opponents to be tackled by the Eagles... are bottle caps.

The team has announced a partnership with Braskem, the Philadelphia-based plastics giant, on a major recycling push.

Bottle caps collected at Lincoln Financial Field and the NovaCare Complex will be recycled and made into new products.

The Eagles say the effort will be highlighted in an interactive fan zone at the Linc's HeadHouse Plaza. Students in several dozen local schools will receive access to an online education pogram for science, technology, engineering and math careers.
