PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Electric Factory has a new name: Franklin Music Hall

Owner Bowery Presents says it was picked from among more than 5,000 submissions in a contest that started in September.

The four fans who suggested that name will get a couple of tickets to every show at the venue for the next two years.

Bowery Presents says the previous owner, Live Nation, "refused to license" the iconic Electric Factory moniker and logo. The venue was temporarily renamed North Seventh after the sale last month.

All tickets originally sold while the space was called Electric Factory and North Seventh will be honored at Franklin Music Hall.
