PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A former high school swim coach who served jail time for soliciting one of his swimmers is now charged with possessing child pornography.

Michael Dolan of Lafayette Hill is charged with possessing and distributing child pornography as a criminal complaint says more than 100 images of children ages two to 14 were found in his possession.

Dolan was on the sex offenders’ registry as he was sentenced to 1 1/2 to three years in jail after pleading guilty in 2009 to unlawful contact with a minor for purposes of prostitution and corruption of minors.

In 2008, Dolan was the swim coach at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School. He admitted to sending texts to a 15-year-old swimmer, offering money for sexual favors.

According to the criminal complaint, the recent investigation into Dolan began when Google contacted authorities flagging content in a Google Drive account.

The complaint goes on to say a search of Dolan’s home on Center Avenue in Whitemarsh Township turned up a drive with the images and videos.

The 40-year-old is free on $250,000 bail and ordered to have no unsupervised contact with children or access to the internet.
