Ex-Radnor Township board president sentenced to 12 years in prison on child porn charges

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A former president of Radnor Township's Board of Commissioners will spend more than 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges involving images of child sexual abuse.

Philip Ahr, 68, also was sentenced to 10 years probation and must register as a sex offender under Megan's Law.

Authorities say Ahr used online names like “DaddyX” and “DaddyXX” to commit the crimes.  

The First Assistant U.S. Attorney, Jennifer Arbittier Williams, says the Main Line man's "days of exploiting his position of trust in our community for his perverse gratification are over."
