PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — An open house was held Thursday at Center City's first medical marijuana dispensary set to open next week.

Hundreds were in attendance collecting information about medical cannabis from experts and vendors.

Eric Altman, 26, of Morrisville, suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and has his Pennsylvania medical cannabis card ready.

"When you come to a place like this, you are exposed to so many different forms of this. To patches to tinctures to sprays, all over the place behind me," Altman said. "And its really a powerful way to tell people its not just a traditional Cheech and Chong smoking a blunt. We now have all these different options and its helping people."
