PATCO service resumes in Philadelphia

April 27, 2019 - 9:13 am

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- PATCO service in Philadelphia was restored late Saturday morning after earlier flooding brought trains to a halt.
The Delaware River Port Authority said flooding in one of the tunnels that runs underground in Center City forced PATCO to temporarily suspend service.

Riders commuting between Camden City Hall and the end of the line in Lindenwold, New Jersey were not affected.

After nearly two hours without trains operating through Philadelphia, PATCO resumed normal service.
