PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- Coming soon to Center City: a workout facility that's designed to bring out the fighter in everyone. It's the brainchild of a former heavyweight champion's son.

George Foreman III believes Philly is a perfect fit for his EverybodyFights franchise.

"Philly is home of the fighters," Foreman said. "Those are the guys who are gonna grit down and say, 'I don't care if you're better than me at everything, I got more fight in you, I'm tough and I'm coming straight at you.'"

Foreman's boxing-centric, Zen-like fitness concepts have already caught on in Boston, New York, Lexington and Chicago. He's hoping for similar success when he opens EverybodyFights at 20th and Market Streets in January 2019.

"I have a belief that if I can create a safe place, a safe environment for you to use boxing fitness as a platform, I can get you to start conquering your inner battles from a physical standpoint," he said.

The 13,000-square-foot facility will feature two boxing rings, along with standard training equipment and classrooms.

"I would love if everyone had access to a boxing gym," Foreman said. "Whether it's mine or someone else's, I don't care. But I want boxing to be big again."
