PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — New postage stamps offer another use of your five senses this summer.

The U.S. Postal Service released its scratch-and-sniff stamps — for the first time in its 243-year history — featuring Frozen Treats Forever, a sweet, fruity scent.

The refreshing stamps are illustrated with vibrant watercolor popsicles. "Flavors" include kiwi, watermelon, blueberry, orange, strawberry, chocolate, root beer and cola. Each of the 10 variations incorporate a scent combo.

They are equal in value to the current first-class mail 1-ounce price.

The whimsical self-adhesive stamps  so long licking, hello sniffing!  will be released June 20.
