PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Dozens of families got a special holiday treat at one of the city's tallest buildings as kids ran around the One Liberty Observation Deck collecting as many candy canes as they could find.

"Um I'm gonna save some for Santa and I'm gonna eat some," said Lyla, one of the participants.

Too bad it was a foggy day, so there wasn't a view.

After the candy cane hunt, kids got to enjoy hot chocolate and a special guest from the Pennsylvania Ballet.

Dionne Finley says it was definitely a Sunday funday for her two daughters despite the rain, "and they love the Sugar Plum Fairy, puts you in the spirit of the holidays, you know,"

If you or your child want to see the Sugar Plum Fairy, visit the Pennsylvania Ballet for more information on events and shows.
