PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Shore houses are so last season. This year, opt for something a bit cozier — and with a lot more trunk space.

Margate’s Lucy the Elephant is Airbnb’s newest host. The Save Lucy Committee is giving people the chance to stay inside the 65-foot-tall national landmark.

As a promotion starting on March 5, a few lucky Lucy fans will have the opportunity to enjoy a one-night stay inside the famous mammoth, either on March 17, 18 or 19.

The Airbnb listing includes one queen bed and one bath in a Victorian era design, and it goes for $138 — representing the number of years Lucy has been perched overlooking the shore.

Lucy was built in 1881 — predating the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. Her regal walls have served as a tavern and even played host to former President Woodrow Wilson.

Travelers can request to book their stay with Lucy starting at noon on March 5, though the committee noted it is not a contest.

Airbnb will make an unspecified donation to the Save Lucy Committee to fund ongoing preservation efforts.
