RADNOR TOWNSHIP, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — The 34-year-old man accused of killing his ex-wife in a Delaware County Wawa was arraigned from his hospital bed Monday.

Brian Kennedy was arraigned in connection with the death of his ex-wife, Stephanie Miller, last Thursday.

The Chester County man was charged with criminal homicide, first- and third-degree murder, possession of an instrument of crime and recklessly endangering another person.

Security cameras caught the moment Kennedy shot and killed Miller at point-blank range with an AR-15 at the Wawa at Sugartown Road.

Kennedy was arrested after threatening Miller at the same Wawa in 2016, and a restraining order between the two ended in September.

After the shooting, Kennedy fled in a black BMW and was found two hours later overdosed on drugs in a possible suicide attempt. Radnor Township Police say that Kennedy continues to recover in the hospital.

Other people were inside the store at the time of the shooting, but no one else was injured.
