CAMDEN, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — A 53-year-old Camden man wanted in last month’s shooting of a woman in Cherry Hill has been arrested in Florida and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

The Camden County prosecutor announced the arrest of Brian Walker, who was charged Nov. 5 in the shooting that took place in the parking lot of the Cherry Hill Towers on Route 38.

The 29-year-old victim, now described as Walker’s estranged wife, was with a friend at the time of the shooting. She was treated for a number of gunshot wounds. The friend was uninjured.

Walker is also charged with violating a restraining order.

He was apprehended without incident in Tampa last week and is being held in a local jail pending extradition.
