BURLINGTON COUNTY, N.J. (KYW Newsradio) — Burlington County authorities have charged a 21-year-old Camden man with sexually assaulting a young girl in Maple Shade earlier this year and recording the incident on his cellphone.

Jermaine Ward faces charges of child endangerment and sexual assault. He is held in the county jail in Mount Holly pending a detention hearing later this week.

County Prosecutor Scott Coffina said in a press release that Ward was employed by the YMCA and worked in programs at the Beverly City and Carson Elementary schools.

It's alleged he may have had contact with others under his care.

Coffina urged anyone who suspects there may be additional victims to contact the prosecutor's offices in Mount Holly or Camden.
