PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — The Marian Anderson Award is experiencing a big shake-up this year.

The organization announced in August that its award recipient winner was Queen Latifah — the youngest recipient of the award, which is also celebrating its 20th anniversary.

But the Nov. 20 gala has been postponed "as Queen Latifah is unable to accept this year due to personal reasons," according to a message on its website posted Thursday. "We look forward to honoring her in the future."

The gala will be rescheduled and announce shortly, and single tickets will be honored on the new date.
