TOWNSON, Md. (RADIO.COM) — And you thought your parent was overbearing.

Police are looking for a mother in Maryland for maybe going a bit too far in trying to find her son a date.

Officers say she went up to students at two campuses at Towson University and showed them a picture of her son and asked if they would go out with him. The woman is reportedly in her 50s and was seen wearing a colorful scarf.

Police say they got multiple calls from the people she had approached, and her attempts may be a “cause for concern.”

She is not being criminally investigated, according to the university. But officials do want the her to back off, if you will, and stop propositioning coeds.
