PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — When ordering a pizza, it's common to choose among several toppings. At one pizza spot in Philadelphia this holiday season, customers have another decision to make: What Christmas tree do you want with your pies?

Patrons of Porta Philadelphia, on Chestnut Street near 12th Street, from now until Christmas Eve will have a pretty unique holiday deal.

"We call it 'Pizza and a Tree,'" General Manager Taylor Kosbab says. "You get two pizzas, a choice of a caraffe of our house wine or two pints of beer, and either a 3- to 4-foot tree or a 5- to 6-foot tree."

Kosbab calls the deal convinient.

"Definitly, in a city setting where you can just throw your tree right on your shoulder and walk home with it instead of having to pack it up in a car or driving somehwere to get it. I think it's a great tradition to start with your family," he said.

Kosbab says it's a whole package. "It's way of giving back, this year we started doing Porta ornaments which we're going to include in the package as well."
