PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman walked into the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Belmont on Monday and told troopers she knew where the body of a missing mother of two could be located.

Sources say she gave them the locker number of a storage unit on Frankford Avenue in Port Richmond, and when investigators went to look, they found the partial remains of a woman in a box.

The victim’s legs had been removed, sources say.

Officials believe the woman has been missing since 2003, and is from Montoursville. They are now looking to see if they have dental records for the victim, and they may have to do some DNA testing.

State troopers have taken 49-year-old Jade Gillette Babcock into custody, and he has been charged with abuse of corpse and related offenses.

Detectives are still working to figure out where the victim was killed, and are working with authorities in Lycoming County, where both the victim and person of interest are from.
