"I heard just yesterday that Joe Biden said that well armed police, in his words, become the enemy. And he said he would ‘absolutely cut funding’ for law enforcement. So I want you to hear this directly from me. Under this president and this administration, we’re not going to defund the police. Not now, not ever,” Pence told the crowd of about 200 union members and supporters at the Back the Blue rally.

After the rally, Pence flew back to Washington.
