PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia's Streets Department is holding their annual Christmas-tree recycling program through the middle of January.

Starting on Wednesday, Jan. 2, and running through Jan. 12, residents can drop off ol' tannenbaum at one of the following Sanitation Convenience Centers, Monday through Saturday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.:

  • 3901 N. Delaware Ave.
  • 2601 West Glenwood Ave.
  • 3033 South 63rd St.
  • Domino Lane and Umbria St.
  • State Road and Ashburner St.

Residents who are unable to get to one of the drop-off locations may leave their tree curbside on a regular trash day to be picked up.
