PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) -- After a gloomy stretch of weather in the Delaware Valley, people finally got to enjoy the outdoors Sunday, and it looks like we can expect more days like this ahead.

For a solid week plus, dreary weather took over the region, including four straight days of rain through Saturday.

Will says, "It felt like I was in, what I assume, Seattle is like. And it kind of made up my mind to never move there."

But then on Sunday, it finally happened, the sun returned.

And CBS3 meteorologist Lauren Casey says for the most part -- the sunshine is staying

"Monday looks like a beautiful start to the work week," she said. "Rain chance going to come back on Tuesday, of course, but then by Wednesday afternoon that sun comes out and it looks like we have a gorgeous end to the week. Thursday and Friday look beautiful"

"Looks like I'm going to leave my house," Will said.

You didn't leave it too much this last week?

"No I did not," he added.
