PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) —  Game one of the Philadelphia 76ers’ second round playoff series in Toronto was a rough one to watch, the Sixers lost.

However, 76ers fans in Center City still seemed to have a good time Saturday night during a special watch party at LOVE Park of all places.

"It's great, nice day out, a lot of people here," said Jose Sandoval. "It's fun."

On the opposite side of the park as the LOVE statue, a nice-sized screen was set up, with the parkway serving as the backdrop.

"Wonderful, I like it," Miguel Gonzalez said of the setup. "I'm a Sixers fans, I got to come out and support my team."

He called attending this party the perfect way to show some 76ers love.

"We're behind the Sixers, we have to be behind the Sixers, that's our team," Gonzalez added. "We have to support our team all the time."

Jeremiah was overflowing with energy as he spoke with KYW Newsradio about this open air watch party.

"Oh man, it's like the Sixers never left from here," he said. "You would have thought the Wells Fargo (Center) was right here in LOVE Park."

Because of the location, some people who were out for a night on the town stumbled on the watch party, and decided to give it a go.

"I wish I was a big Sixers fan right now," said Chelsea Titlow. "I'm actually becoming one at this moment!"

Game one was a disaster, but at least these Sixers fans got to enjoy this unique experience.
